Privacy Policy
Last updated October 13, 2026
Kebler sends event invitations and collects responses. It is operated by Pruett & Co., LLC (“Kebler”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, who else handles it, and how long we keep it. Questions: hey@kebler.org.
Two kinds of people use Kebler
Organizers have accounts. They create events and invite guests. Guests have no account: they get an invitation, or RSVP through an event’s link, and respond. An organizer decides whom to invite and is responsible for having a reason to invite them. For guests’ information, we act on the organizer’s behalf.
What we collect
From organizers
- Your email address and name, and on Org plans your organization’s name and your teammates’ addresses.
- Your events: title, time, place, online meeting link, description, and the name shown to guests.
- The guest addresses you enter and the messages you send to guests.
- Settings, such as reminders, a reply address, and a sending domain.
- Billing details for Pro and Org. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. We keep your Stripe customer and subscription IDs and your plan’s status.
- Sign-in records: a one-time sign-in code, stored only in hashed form until it expires, and a session cookie that keeps you signed in. With each session we keep your browser’s description of itself (its “user agent”), not your IP address.
About guests
- Email address, entered by the organizer or by the guest on an RSVP page, and the name a guest gives on an RSVP page.
- The guest’s response (Yes, Maybe, No), when they gave it, and whether it came from the invitation page or their calendar. If they add a note when they respond from their calendar, we keep it and show it to the organizer, and delete it with the rest of the guest’s information.
- Whether each email was delivered, bounced, or marked as spam, as reported by our email provider.
- Choices a guest makes: to stop reminders, to block emails from an organizer, or to report an invitation.
- When a guest responds from their calendar, their calendar app emails the response to Kebler. We read the response from it and delete the original message within 24 hours.
From everyone
- To limit abuse, we count requests by IP address, but we store only a keyed, one-way hash of the address, never the address itself.
- A cookie that remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme, for one year.
- Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs of requests.
We don’t use advertising or analytics trackers. Our emails contain no tracking pixels, and we don’t rewrite links to track clicks.
How we use it
- To send invitations, updates, cancellations, reminders, and organizer messages, and to record responses.
- To show organizers who responded and whether their emails arrived.
- To sign organizers in, keep accounts secure, and prevent abuse and spam.
- To bill paid plans and answer questions you send us.
- To email organizers about Kebler itself, such as tips, new features, and offers. You can stop these at any time with the link in the email or by replying.
Organizers’ contact details are used only by Kebler. We don’t sell personal information or share it with anyone for their marketing or advertising, and we don’t send marketing email to guests.
Who can see it
- Organizers see their own events’ guest lists. Guests never see each other’s names or addresses. An RSVP page can show how many said Yes, only if the organizer turns that on.
- Our service providers, who handle data only to run Kebler for us: Cloudflare (hosting and database), Resend (sending and receiving email), and Stripe (payments).
- Others when the law requires it, or to protect people from harm or Kebler from fraud and abuse.
How long we keep it
- Guests’ names and addresses on an organizer’s events: on Free, deleted 180 days after the event ends or is cancelled. On Pro, Org, and Community, kept while the organizer’s plan is active, unless the organizer chooses deletion after 180 days; when the plan ends, the 180 days apply again 30 days later. The events themselves stay with the organizer’s account. A guest’s personal link stops working 30 days after the event.
- RSVP requests that were never confirmed: 24 hours.
- The contents of emails we send: kept encrypted only until they are sent, then deleted, and never longer than 7 days.
- Delivery records (delivered, bounced, and so on): 90 days.
- Request logs: up to 14 days.
- A record that an address bounced, marked our email as spam, or blocked an organizer: kept as a keyed hash for as long as we need it to honor that choice.
- Deleting your organizer account cancels your upcoming events (guests are told), ends your sessions, and removes your address.
- Our hosting provider’s backups may hold deleted data for a limited time before they expire.
Your choices and rights
- Organizers can change or delete events and delete their account from the Account page, and can stop Kebler’s marketing email at any time; account and event email still arrive.
- Guests can stop reminders for an event, block all emails from an organizer, or report an invitation, from the link in any invitation. To have your information removed, ask the organizer, or email us and we’ll remove your name and address from every event on Kebler.
- Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to how we use it. Email hey@kebler.org and we’ll respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm it’s you first.
Security
Connections use HTTPS. Sign-in codes and private links are stored only as hashes, and queued emails are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell affected people if a breach puts it at risk.
Children
Kebler isn’t meant for children. Organizers must be at least 16. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13; if you think we have, email us and we’ll delete it.
Where it’s processed
We’re based in the United States. Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above. If a change matters, we’ll tell organizers by email before it takes effect.
