Inviting guests
Each guest gets an email with a standard calendar invitation. In most calendars it shows up like any meeting invite, and the guest responds Yes, Maybe, or No right there. The email also has a personal link where they can respond in a browser.
Add guests
On the event’s Guest List tab, paste one or more addresses (up to 250 at a time; commas, spaces, or one per line all work) and send. If any address can’t be invited, Kebler shows why before anything is sent: for example a typo, someone already on the list, or a plan limit. Invitations can be sent until the event starts.
On Pro and Org, Copy guests from another event fills the box with another event’s guests. Nothing is sent until you send.
Who to invite
Invite people who know you or your organization and would expect an invitation from you: members, colleagues, friends, or customers you already deal with, or people who asked to hear about the event. They don’t need to have signed up for anything, but an invitation should never be unsolicited or go to a stranger. Don’t use bought, rented, or scraped lists. Guests can block you or report an invitation, and a report or a spam complaint holds your account’s email for a day. The Terms have the full rule.
Who the invitation is from
Each event has a Shown to guests as name, which starts as your account’s name. On Org, every event is shown under the organization’s name. Invitations come from rsvp@events.kebler.org, or on Pro and Org from your own subdomain once it’s set up (see Sending from your own subdomain). Reminders and messages to a guest come from the same address as their invitation. When a guest replies by email, the reply goes to you (or your shared reply address).
Resend, set a response, or remove a guest
Each guest on the Guest List has a Manage button:
- Resend invitation sends it again (up to 2 times a day per guest), for example after they deleted it.
- Set response records a response for them, for example when they told you in person.
- Remove from guest list sends that guest a cancellation, so the event leaves their calendar.
Limits
Free allows 50 guests per event, Pro 250, and Org 2,000. There are also daily and monthly limits on new guests and on email; see Plans and limits.
